Kenya has lost 90% of its original forest cover. Reforestation is one of the most critical conservation actions being taken across East Africa. Through our tree planting programme, every safari booked with Horizon Explorer contributes directly to this effort.

In partnership with local conservation organisations and community groups, we plant indigenous trees in areas of highest ecological need — riparian buffers along rivers, wildlife corridors connecting parks, and community forests on the edge of protected areas.
