3 Days Tsavo East & Taita Hills Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Diani / Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Diani Beach resort or Mombasa hotel.

Travel along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway towards Tsavo East National Park, entering through Bachuma Gate.

Upon entering the park, enjoy your first game drive on the way to your safari lodge or tented camp.

After lunch and some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes and other wildlife.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or camp.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Tsavo East before departing for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

Arrive at the sanctuary in time for lunch at Salt Lick Safari Lodge or Taita Hills Lodge.

In the afternoon enjoy a game drive within the sanctuary, known for excellent wildlife sightings.

Later return to the lodge where you can observe animals visiting the waterhole near the lodge, especially in the evening.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Taita Hills – Return to Diani / Mombasa

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the sanctuary.

Later begin the journey back to the Kenya Coast, arriving at your hotel in the afternoon.
