The Serengeti is a very large ecosystem, and reaching it from Arusha involves substantial driving time.
This itinerary prioritizes getting you into the Serengeti and giving you meaningful game-viewing time, followed by a Ngorongoro Crater safari.
If you want a slower pace, more time in remote Serengeti areas or a stronger focus on the Great Migration, a 4–6 day safari is usually a better choice.
