The 13 Day Mikumi, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Maasai Mara Safari takes you across some of the most varied wildlife landscapes in Tanzania and Kenya. Starting in Dar es Salaam and Southern Tanzania, the journey begins with the open plains of Mikumi National Park before continuing north to the legendary Serengeti, the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Kenya’s famous Maasai Mara.
This is a safari for travelers who want to experience more than the traditional Northern Tanzania circuit. Mikumi offers a quieter introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife, while Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Maasai Mara bring some of East Africa’s most celebrated game-viewing experiences together in one itinerary.

Spend the entire day exploring Mikumi National Park.The Mkata Floodplain is one of the park's main wildlife areas and offers expansive views across the grasslands. After breakfast, begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park.The route passes through the spectacular landscapes of northern Tanzania and the Ngorongoro Highlands before reaching the Serengeti ecosystem.Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an afternoon game drive.As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into enormous grass-covered plains that support some of Africa's greatest concentrations of wildlife.Overnight: Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy game viewing as you leave Serengeti and continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.The landscape changes from open Serengeti plains to the highlands surrounding the Ngorongoro volcanic landscape.Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim and enjoy spectacular views across the caldera.Overnight: Ngorongoro
